Walnut Creek Foyer

Project Overview:

Our clients wanted a stunner of a foyer, an entrance that was dressed to immediately impress. An intimate conversation in the gold barrel chairs is enhanced by glancing toward the stunning cabinet, mirror and lamps on the other side, and the light dancing on the mirrors and artwork from the crystal chandelier.

Walnut Creek Foyer

We wanted to use the space for hanging out and chatting as well as a passthrough to the rest of the house.  We created a focal point area with a dark wood, layered sunburst chest with gold accents, topped by tall, heavy golden lamps with beaded glass bases, and a white and gold framed organically shaped mirror. We added a custom runner to the curved staircase, in a luscious white and black abstract patterned carpet. We installed a huge 6 foot, multi-tiered crystal flute chandelier. We hung two oversized abstract art pieces, framed in black over one entrance. Over the other,  we installed nine large black framed square mirrors which reflect the artwork on the opposing wall, and also mimics the coffered ceilings in the adjacent family room. Lastly, on the first floor, in the curve of the stair, we tucked two camel/golden colored velvet  and gold barrel chairs, along with a black and white marble accent lamp.
