2022 Dream Room Awards

2020 Design Awards: Dream Room Winner 1st PlaceThe 2022 Design Awards gives interior designers an opportunity to submit their professionally photographed projects. Each project is judged by a panel of shelter magazine editors from publications such as Elle Decor, House Beautiful, Veranda and several more.

Interior designers Lynne Lawson and Laura Outland are proud to announce that two of their projects have been awarded top honors at this years contest.

Second Runners Up

Lynne and Laura received the overall second runner up award for their classic  bathroom design, as well as 1st place People’s Choice Awards, an online judging open to the public.

1st Place: Bathrooms

Bathroom suite was remodeled to flow with a new closet. A frameless shower and freestanding tub were added to open up space. A “marble” porcelain tile paired with faceted mink colored glass accent tile, adds sleek appeal. A large vanity in rustic coffee, white porcelain, and bright gold is the room’s focal point. Stunning gold leaf chandelier, art déco sconces, and a gold mirror create mood and light.

3rd Place: Living Rooms

This modern classic living room is a blend of two aesthetics and a prefect space to entertain guests, with its seating layout of two grey velvet loveseats and modern industrial accent chairs. A dark rustic cocktail table anchors the space while a patterned area rug and variety of lamps add texture. Rich chestnut draperies create contrast against the fresh off-white walls and an intriguing wall décor piece beckons the eye to the main focal point of the room, the fireplace.
