If you love interior design then you’ll enjoy voting for your favorite design entries. Each year we enter (and often win) the Decorating Den Interior’s Dream Room competition. The competition is judged by magazine editors from publications such as Traditional Home, Elle Decor and Veranda. There is one very special award The 2020 People’s Choice Award that allows the public to vote on their favorite rooms. The two below are from the Lawson Dream Team – our clients love their rooms and we hope you do too!
This mid-century modern dining room is given a twist with a bold and colorful wallpaper and a round concrete top dining table. Suspended above the table is a sophisticated smoked glass globe chandelier that brings ambiance to the space. Deep teal velvet dining chairs add color, and sleek server provides storage and space for entertaining.
This cool toned transitional living room is the perfect place to entertain. A transitional grey sofa is paired with a navy-blue velvet lounge chair, and a mid-century modern leather accent chair brings a vintage twist. A grey area rug, geometric curtain panels, and live edge cocktail table add texture. The large watercolor artwork brings all colors together and provides a focal point.
