Luxury Living Room: Velvet, Mixed Metals, and Modern Elegance

To begin, we created a layout that was as functional as it was elegant. Our vision was to create an intimate conversation area where guests could gather effortlessly, surrounded by understated luxury. At the heart of this arrangement is a grand tufted velvet sofa in a deep, rich slate blue embraced the space. Flanking it were two regal wing chairs, upholstered in a shimmering silver modern jacquard, their sleek curves adding sophistication. To complete the layout, a pair of accent chairs with brass nailheads offered both style and symmetry. For the ceiling and crown molding, we selected a serene sea-mist blue, a shade that effortlessly drew the eye upward. To contrast this soft hue, the walls were dressed in a crisp white, acting as the perfect canvas for bold accents. A black and antique brass chandelier commands attention, and oversized round mirror with goldleaf spheres is the “diva” above the sofa. Its reflective surface also captures a bar cart—an unspoken invitation for guests to indulge. Beneath it all, a silverleaf cocktail table cradling curated coffee table books. The result? A sumptuous living space radiating elegance and, perfectly designed for conversation, and entertainment.
